Importance Of Color Play In The Bedroom

I am not a professional blogger and this one is my first one, but I want to share some basic ideas to color your bedroom and to make it fabulous by playing with colors.

Everyone's choice is different in choosing colors. But the wall you want to highlight must be according to vaastu which means, you should not highlight a wall that is placed in North or West directions. As these directions are not suitable to head towards while you are sleeping. And we usually put our bed in-front-of the highlighted wall. Then the question is what a highlighted wall is? Today's trend allows you to paint all the walls in one color except a wall which is to be in other unique color. And this uniquely colored wall is the highlighted wall. Usually we try to make this wall look beautiful & lively. Except the highlighted wall, try to use soft & bright colors for other walls as it make you room brighter & bigger.

We can experiment with bold colors like magenta, purple, blue, red etc. or bright colors like yellow, lime green, orange etc. You can go through the color palettes and decide your color or you can also try the samplers available in the market. There are also some website which will show you the virtual makeover of your home after applying the colors. But my personal suggestion is to go for the samplers if you are having any doubt. Don't play with too many colors, sometimes it looks ugly instead of making your room beautiful. Try to keep it simple & elegant.

You can also use wallpapers if you are not satisfied with only colors. They will make your room royal. You can also experiment with wall-decals, which will surely make your room attractive. And you will be happy to know that there are a lot of options of wallpapers & wall-decals available online.

After you finish up with painting, now its time to decor your room with accessories like curtains, bedsheets, rugs, runner, cushion covers and even your furniture which will suit your room accordingly. And online shopping makes it easy to get all these things according to your choice.
